·A firm understanding of the restaurant and bar  business; including food preparation, staffing, menu  selection, and event planning.

·Sufficient resources to enable continuous operation  until firmly established in the community.

·The ability to plan, organize, and coordinate special  events to enhance daily, weekly, and monthly  operations.

·Sophisticated management skills encompassing  personal, accounting, and public interaction.

·Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Publisher,  Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Access for the  creation  and maintenance of documents, menus,  calendars, and newsletters.

     In general, the successful operator will interact with community leaders and other business owners to provide quality service and community support. Participation in the chamber of commerce and service clubs is anticipated and required.
